I am Jessica Allen, Bostonian living in San Francisco. I’ve been taking photos for 15 years. My M.O. is to create dreamy images of San Francisco and document life as art with a journalistic streak. I shoot mostly 35mm with my Diana Mini, Smena 8M, or Minolta X-570, but I also shoot digital with my iPhone 4S or Nikon D70 at times.

Photography runs deep within my family’s skin. My grandfather was a chemist and spent most of his career at the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York. He shot solely on the Kodachrome film he spent his career perfecting, documenting his life and the lives of those around him. This is the mentality I have when I approach a photo. A photograph is a moment in time, and it’s my job to capture that memory.

I’m a journalist and a photographer based in Italy. Since the beginning of my experience as photographer, motivated by the need to report also with photos events asked to write about, I’ve understood that I love beauty. That’s what I try to tell and that’s the reason why my pictures don’t belong to a specific category. Hope you enjoy my tumblr that includes some thoughts, moments of my own career and private life. I’m Sabracane, a ¨Pais-based photographer.
I worked on a serie called “B.O” like Bande Originale in French.
I worked about rebellion history, the youth who changes politically, culturally the minds. The rebel who made some changes in the ways of our live, still right now.
For example, the skin movement in Great Britain, or the french rap era in Paris. For 2 years I wrote about and meet people who are still attached to those periods and take picture of them.
