Hello. My name is Mykee Alvero, and I’m from the Philippines.
This is a photo I took during a trip to Hong Kong. I grew up there, and it’s always good to revisit things every now and then, especially when you know those things played a role in shaping how you are in the present.
I brought that story up because photography is something I revisited. I had stopped taking pictures some years back because I got lazy and thought it wasn’t going anywhere. Last December, I got a camera for a Christmas present, started taking pictures again, and discovered a joy unlike before. Now I know this is something I want to do for the rest of my life.
I may not have the formal training, but I always try to learn something new every time I take out my camera. I like taking pictures of buildings, and city scenes to show that there’s always a different way to take a look at an old thing. It might be the best way, but it’s my way and it’s something I want to share with the rest of the world.
I use a: Samsung EX-1, and my iPhone if I don’t have my camera with me.

I’m on Flickr too! :)
I am a Los Angeles resident. I take photos strictly for pleasure. I take photos of hanging out with friends, people on the street, or anything I see that I think looks great. I apply what I learn in film school to my photography.
I use a Canon Sure Shot Max, a Canon Rebel G, and disposable cameras. All film. I also use my Iphone 5 which I think takes amazing photos. I edit everything on my phone.
First and foremost, my actual photography blog is MIKIGILES.TUMBLR.COM, which is the blog I actually want to promote here (the main blog linked to my account is my reblog site!).
I am a 24-year-old photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand. I’m self-taught in photography and recently was extremely fortunate enough to land a travel-heavy, full-time job assisting a professional photographer, who is both a great boss and a great teacher! I also do my own freelance work on the side, from time to time. Currently, I use a Canon 5D Mark I, a Sony A-500 and a Yashica-A TLR, and my iPhone and a Fuji Instax for the fun happy snaps of everyday life.
I got my first camera when I was 10 years old and from then on I have observed and documented my world through lenses. People, by far, are my favourite subject. Over the past few years I’ve also developed a keen interest in photographing architecture, food and landscapes, as well as travel photography. I have no idea yet what kind of photography I will do professionally once I’m no longer working for anyone else - that’s something I hope to figure out while I learn what I need to learn!
I love to travel. my goal is to capture the liveliness of a city without the picture seeming cluttered. Although it is a work in progress, i look to capture the energy and beauty of a city in these pictures as neatly as possible. my medium fluctuates, but the majority of these pictures were taken by a Nikon D 3200 and my Iphone 4S.
Hey everyone, I love traveling and taking photos of landscapes, sunrise, sunset, and things that are different. I use either an iPhone 4 or a Canon Rebel. I hope you enjoy them!

I’m a 22 year old male from Coastal New Jersey whose has a diverse and unique taste in photography and design. The usual things you’ll find in my portfolio are generally scenic nature shots of beaches, forests, skies and clouds, Then of course people and models, also I absolutely love light painting. you’ll find alot of that in my feed. I love black and white and low light photographs. Also experimental digital editing is my thing. I take alot of photographs and then ill make 2 or 3 edits of them. I try to post just as much raw shots as edited shots so you can get a good sense of both.
I got into photography around June 2011, so I’ve only two years experience. Also, I am entirely self-taught. I started off as just a hobbyist blogger, taking photos on my iPhone and editing them just for fun, but have slowly turned more professional as time goes on. I use a Nikon D3000 now, but am also still very into mobile photography. (You can find me on instagram @robinthesky links are in my profile)
It started off as a hobby but now I want this to be my career.

The tunnel: hello my name is Jon and i love to photojournal a lot. Mainly i do Street Photography but more than once i have done my fair bit of something else. I am Nikon user, currently training with a D3100 amd soon a D90. If you ask me why i love photography, i could tell you a thousand reasons. However as a fair believer, i want to show life as a expression of higher power and purpose. I hope my work can sho that, we as people are special and therefore our interactions make our everyday life an adventure.
Thanks! And hope this makes it through!
I tend to favor cinematic work. I love movies and sometimes try to emulate the style of some films in my photography, but I also just shoot a ton of different things. I would like to say I’m versatile, but that’s not really up to me to say. For the most part I shoot film. However, I constantly take photos with my phone. The ones posted on tumblr are ones I’ve shot for my instagram. Sometimes I feel like the best shots are ones that evoke an emotion. I’m constantly on the pursuit of that shot that inspires someone or just moves someone.
I don’t want to say “I’m a photographer, I see the world like an kind of person ” blablababla … This is my work, my universe, I hope you enjoy it, and if this is not the case it’s not a matter, me I love it. You’re free to ask of course ;)
Hi my name is Frank, Telephonetography is a new project of me showcasing my phone photography on Tumblr. All photos are made with my HTC One X and processed in Aviary.
As a semi-professional photographer I’m constantly exploring all the facets of photography. Since the mobile phone has become somewhat of a limb I’m really interested in finding out how far mobile phone photography can be pushed and evolve.
My personal - non mobile photography - blog is:

My name is Orlando. Born and raised in South Dakota. Recently just got in to photography within the last year or so. I love finding interesting angles and view points to take pictures from. I shoot using a Nikon D3100 and have a couple of different lenses. primarily shoot with 18-55mm also love my 55-200mm and of course a tripod. I love shooting nature shots to really show how beautiful nature can be. even with in city limits. I’ve been told by numerous people that I should pursue a career in photography and that I should be getting paid for my hobby. and i really just want to get my work out there and be more exposed. I love sharing my work with others and getting feedback on how to improve and different techniques.

Model: Johnny White Jr.
Model: Mischa Brooks
Photo: This was shot at El Mirage dry lake bed near Palmdale CA. This was the first time that I had shot Johnny. He makes an excellent model because he is such an expressive person and has a ton of crazy wardrobe options.
Mischa is an excellent model to shoot. Her eyes are captivating, and she really knows how to pose well. Not afraid to be silly on camera.
I am privileged to be a part of a world that most people don’t get to see. Beauty is everywhere and i want to show the world. I want people to realize that if you stop thinking into the future for a little while, and become present, a whole other reality opens up. I want people to see this beautiful world just like it do… Through the lens.
Most of my photographs are of people. I love the element of the unknown that they bring to my photographs. I rarely ask them to stop what they are doing because i like to shoot with a voyeuristic feel. When shooting an event i love to become a part of the event and part of the people at the event so that i may move among the crowd with minimal disturbance to what is happening at that moment. I shoot everything from landscape to underwater, to nude models, to hardcore sex. Art comes in many forms and i love shooting it all.
