my name is brock i am currently studying photography in columbus ohio. i shoot all film and enjoy using all formats. lately ive been shooting alot of 4x5 black and white. I am in love with the dark room process. Everything you will find on my blog however is color film, i use my tumblr as an outlet for the things i cant use in school. The town i live in has become over run with drugs and violence, some of which is some of the most bizarre stuff ive ever heard of. My name is Joshua Wenning. I grew up in the midwest and developed a strong interest for music and art at a young age. I spent my teenage years playing and producing music as well as experimenting with a multitude of art-related mediums. I decided to pursue my education further studying Graphic Design at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Here, I exhibited a love for design and a repulsion for school. I loved my peers and teachers dearly, but presumptuously thought I could learn faster on my own. This is where my journey begins. I recently dropped out of school, moved to Florida with my love, and am pursuing photography. I am also in the process of starting a business called 1132 Miles. So far, I have acquired a great deal of knowledge far beyond what I expected. The real world is a bit trickier than what I assumed. But, I am happy and warm. For now, I’m going to keep shooting, jamming, designing, skateboarding, and learning. I am a dreamer. The day that I stop dreaming will be the day that I become completely miserable. I hope my brief story and the stories through my work inspire you.

i try to evoke some feeling from my work…not your run of the mill model photos. whether that comes across or not, i’m not sure.
