Photography runs deep within my family’s skin. My grandfather was a chemist and spent most of his career at the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York. He shot solely on the Kodachrome film he spent his career perfecting, documenting his life and the lives of those around him. This is the mentality I have when I approach a photo. A photograph is a moment in time, and it’s my job to capture that memory.

I’ve always loved taking pics. About 4 years i bought my first ‘serious’ camera, a Pentax ME Super. I don’t use it anymore but it got me very excited about Film Photography.
Something I’ve learnt about myself between leaving high school and now (4 yeas later) is that there is a part of me that NEEDS to get away from the Western world every once in a while. There is where I find ultimate beauty and passion. There is where I find my inner self. My whole motive behind my photography is to capture that beauty in it’s purest form and allow it to tell its own story.

my photography is eclectic ranging from the above colorful slice of life, to family journalism, to imaging great scenery around the world, to creation of interesting observations using HDR technology, to the use of macro imaging… my current key tool is a Nikon D700; however, I have a body or work done with a Nikon D300 and a Canon S95… I also use an iPhone when the situation dictates… I process images primarily through Aperture, Photomatix and the full range of Nik software products….
I am a Romanian photographer in love with people, places, memories, little things, details, landscapes and many more. I believe that when you look at things differently, STORIES emerge. I believe that there is beauty in the everyday. And when PEOPLE learn to look for it, they’ll find inspiration in the last likely places. That’s when the magic happens. It’s not only about photography, it’s about the STORY behind it, it’s about passion, feelings and emotions. It’s A Photographic Love Affair!

My work consists of all black and white , occasionally a color photograph will be thrown in but mostly black and white. I started photography as a hobby and now it is what I want to do with my life. I couldn’t imagine a life without it photography. Hopefully one day I will be able to go to New York and photograph the streets and lights. But for now I will only be small town famous and happy with the nature photography and portraits I get to take take now.
I’m 30, I was born in Paris and still live there. I only shoot film and I’m working on different street photography projects.
