My name is Thomas Edmondson and my blog is Mirrored Photography. I grew up on a small property for the most of my life, underappreciating photography for the majority of it. My dad is a landscape photographer, I used to think “how hard can it be? It’s just pressing a button”.. Oh how wrong I was.
My father taught me the basics when I bought my first DSLR and with loads of practice I began to appreciate how hard it is to get a good shot, let alone a great one. Being 22 and to have been taking photos for just over two years I am happy with how far I have come on my journey.
Photography helps me to get back outside and appreciate the world we live in. Nature is my strongest draw for what I shoot - I love the serenity, fresh air and the feel of wet grass or sand between my toes.
I am currently studying in Sydney, and the shot that I have attached is from my second road-trip in Tasmania in one of my favourite places I have been - the Bay of Fires.
