I’m a London based, Nottingham born street photographer. I shoot mostly black & white street portraits, using a mixture of mostly film and a little digital - although the editing process makes this distinction barely worth mentioning. Most of what is shown on the links below is my recent work following a trip around Latin America, but I will be digging out some oldies sooner or later. For me the art of street portraiture is in mixing it up, not just with equipment, but for example in making your presence known or not, capturing people in all emotional states, whether these be preexisting states or reactionary. In short I shoot people who stand out - sometimes sensitively, although often in cold blood.
